Does anyone know if i'd be likely to get anything out of VW for a 2008 Ed30 which has started to bubble VERY slightly in the wheel arch and the paint has a few tiny cracks if you run your fingers up into the arch?
The car has been VERY well looked after and this is clearly just the front wing rust issue that will 'eventually' need addressing.
Any current info on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Andy.

Get it booked in to be looked at by the warranty guy at your local VW, they should offer 100% contribution on repair or replacement

Thanks Andy.
It all sounds way too simple but i'll go for it!
Cheers.

Take in all your VW service history & invoices, along with a copy of the bulletin.
My old 2007 Ed30 had FULL VW service history and £3k of reciepts to go with it. Sailed through the warranty assessment :happy2:

I took my eddy in last month into York Vdub for the LED rear strip light to be replaced. I was told that it had to go into the body shop to do this. while it was in the inspected the whole body work and I was shocked when they said they found rust starting on the inner front wings. They did say that VW know about this and they replaced both wings with respray under warranty and made a top job. :happy2: :happy2:
