spotted a black edition 30 in Hoddesdon 04 plate :wink:
I was in the grey edition 30 :laugh:

Sounds a little silly, but aren't most ED30 56/07 plate, as the original GTI was launched in mid 1976, so a 04 plate is two years too early? Replica maybe..?

Good shout. It's just I'm a VW nerd, I studied the history for a presentation at work as part of my management development so I'm pretty clued into the history. Re-read my first post and it's proper keyboard warrior like! :signLOL:

i am sure it was a private plate think it was 04AND
as we know it could of been a rep its easy to pull off it had the edition 30 wheels and badges
the rear vw badge had red inserts so thought it looked modded and might be someone from here :happy2:

its a stock ed30 with a few tiny mods he loved the sound of my bcs as i went past him :grin:

dan may i ask your exhaust is
BCS sports or prestige or powervalve edition
downpipe 3 or 3.5
and i know they are well made by nigel
are they much better than say Milltek
Also Dan is there a rolling road around essex or london that you know and trust
