Title: Calling all ICE experts - other options to this Kenwood?
Post by: paulw123 on April 16, 2015, 09:25:51 am
Thinking about fitting this in the wifes 02 Audi TT, must be single DIN so TT flap still works:-

Probably not worth saving £30 from Germany with amazon?, if it goes wrong etc

This unit looks quite slick. Had a lot of Sonys before, and now fancy a change, not so much bling. I like the rear USB going into glove box so no wires on show, bit of OCD  :ashamed:
Is Kenwood up market brand of JVC?

Ice expert comments please.

Link isn't working. But yes, I'd have a Kenwood over a JVC.

Kenwood over JVC, but I'd personally opt for a Pioneer or Alpine as they have much better interal amplifiers than other units I've heard. I'm swapping my Kenwood for an Alpine as I'm planning some more ICE in .y car and the Kenwood doesn't quite cut the mustard for me.

Link corrected.
This Kenwood one is 24bit processor, so that good isn't it?
Think the Alpine equivalent is £30 more.
