Title: Mk 6 engine cover on a mk 5 ?
Post by: Steve in crete on April 16, 2015, 04:29:58 pm
Hi, I have inherited a massive cold air inlet system on my car which stops the fitting, I assume, cos I don't have one, of an engine cover ?  I have looked on eBay and the mk 5 is a big all singing dancing item which is why it won't fit, but the mk 6 appears to be much smaller and compact ?
Even if it's not a straightforward fit I would have to modify less than the mk 5 version, the engines are more or less the same are they not so will it fit, I quite like the idea of having the engine bay finished off a little better than it is currently ?
Your help as usual would be much apreciated.     Steve
