Title: VAG specialist required to do logging and health check
Post by: vag12 on April 19, 2015, 03:25:06 pm
I have just put in a BHZ engine replacing a faulty CDL engine which had failed, the car is mapped by r tech to 370bhp and 380lbs of torque. I have spoken to them regarding a health check/logging and they have said they don't do it unless it's to do with tuning.
So essentially I need to find someone who can do this for me wether it's someone from this forum or VAG specialist. I am based in East London and will travel

Mmmm have you explained to them that its faulty ? I wouldn't have thought Nikki would have said no if its faulty and also another tuner would be no good as its been mapped by R-Tech

With the different inlet cam on the CDL, your map will need tweaking anyway.

Get it booked in for a map tweak, health checks are free then  :happy2:

Well I have changed engines completely so no longer faulty anymore, it's just that I havnt boosted it yet since I don't feel safe to do so till I know someone has logged it and confirms to me that all is safe
