Hi Guys, I've had this fault for a while, I know there's a fix kit available:
1K0 698 517 B
However, are all the fix kits the same with that part number, seems an odd question I know, but different listings specify different suitability all using the same part number above.
My Part codes are:
1K0 907 379 Q Pump
1K0 907 379 AC Modulator
:happy2:

I ordered it anyway, lol, two chances (slim and none) :P

It arrived (a bit too quickly really, lol... £85 new though, bargain I thought):

Now, has anyone fitted one of these? I've had a quick read up, and it seems to be:
Remove battery / battery tray / engine cover, put a stick on the brake pedal, remove old unit, split (in clean enviroment), fit new section, refit, bleed brakes furthest away first, ideally ABS purge with VCDS, refit other bits, remove stick... :ashamed:

bargain price--take it you have a the abs and traction light on

I did mate, the G201 fault code in VCDS and the light on dash... I've had the problem all winter (just haven't got around to it) - I'm sure I've felt the ABS working (pedal fighting/pulsing back in the wet/snow), perhaps this fault is just ESP related. Either way, I'm Happy I've got the part to push me to fix it. :happy2:
