Hi guys!

Great forum...

Wanted to get your guys opinions on a car I saw for sale at my local VW dealer

2007
GTI
DSG
Metallic black paint
Leather heated seats
Multifunction steering wheel
18 inch monzas
Xenon headlights
55,000 miles

The only things it doesn't have are: rear parking sensors, sat nav

Any thoughts on rough price (considering its from a dealer with 12m warranty). I have searched online and its easier to find what a trade-in price but I know buying for a dealer is more expensive (though I am paying for piece of mind of having a warranty and checked car..)

It can vary depending on where you are in the country to a degree, I'm in the midlands and I would think that would be advertised at vw for around 8.5k here but I'm surprised a dealer is selling a car so old!

I think a 5% discount should be achievable in that price range

As said mate £7,750-£8,000 is it 07 or 57

I also was surprised that a main dealer is selling an old car....but it is up for £10,000!!

I think £8k is reasonable but I have been searching for a few months now and it seems the average car for £8k has about 70k miles and is quite worn.

How much is it for sale for ? Knock off about 5-10% and that's the price you will have to pay from VW

Would think it would be £8k or thereabouts from VW around £7500 from another dealer , but without seeing it it is diffucult to judge a cars value whatever the spec

Mine is a 1 owner fully loaded 57 3dr Gti in black paid £7,200 for her 8 months ago with 69k mileage not worn at all, stunning throughout

Saw a mk6 gti today and would appreciate your thoughts on price:

2009 59plate
Dark grey
DSG
heated leather
18inch alloys
60,000 miles

How much would you pay for that?
