Title: Noise when turning left
Post by: colins on April 25, 2015, 09:59:51 am
Hi all,
I have a vibration type noise when turning left, seems fine when straight and turning right. The noise persists when in neutral with the clutch down.

Having had a look under the car the near side outer cv boot has split, and there's a fair amount of grease around which has escaped from the joint.

Are these symptoms typical for a damaged cv joint or is that likely to be a secondary problem?

Thanks!

Clicking or vibration when turning is a symptom of a failed CV joint. Sounds and looks like that's your problem.
