It's just a shame the mk6 is soo god-damn ugly :P
<Garth runs for his life>
-
Maybe you are missing the good old manual gear box? Same happened to me with my previous DSG A3.
-
It's a smart car that, I like it a lot.
-

-

This happened to me a few weeks ago as well. I was driving a Seat Leon rental around which was a manual.
But then when I got back in the DSG ED30 I did come back round to liking the DSG. Just easier around town.

I think they are fantastic. You'll always get the diesel-haters but for the performance against cost (to run) it's hard to go wrong. You've got to love the torque too. I think I'd rather have a DSG TDI though, suits the narrower power band better.
-
I like the GTD's as well and it will be on my list to test drive in about 12 months when I change my car as I need a diesel in my life now.
My car was in for a service yesterday and they gave me a brand new Mk 6 ABT TDI and I was mightily impressed with that apart from the gash body kit :stupid: The actual car was luuuuuuuuurvely to drive and went really well. I must say it's the best courtesy car I've ever had and is better than the 1.2 Polo they were going to give me!
-
^^ at least its not me then!.
I agree though, this set up with DSG would be great.
oh and the wifee's already flashed her boobs at me in the reverse camera!! lol, which i now want one on phylis! :signLOL:
-
:signLOL: good girl
hedge will want video and pictures
-
Awesome, I'd be well chuffed if they gave me one of these! I like :pomppomp:
-
See 1 quite regular in the next village look not to bad and the mates old man was pricing 1 from the local stealers but came home the other day with a top of the range tiguan tdi 140bhp with the r line kit :surprised: In r36 blue :happy2:
-
Still not warning to the MK6 styling... Phil Mcavity what's a DSG service - and when is it done?
-
40,000 miles . Dsg Gearbox requires an gearbox oil and Filter change.
Seems a touch smoother in D mode since.

Oh you know me so well.
-
That is stunning
-
I drove a dsg one in July and quite liked it
-
that's a stout courtesy car....
last one I had was a Mk6 SE TDI... and I had to put up a fight to avoid the 1.2 petrol Polo's and 1.0 Fox's they were offering....
Which dealer was it! (the GTI is due a service early next year! haha!)

Don't be tempted by the lure of the devil's juice on a MKVI. You know what hapeened last time Steve.
Loads of money spent and you ended up in 2 other cars before getting Phylis

Yes sooo much Modding money wasted
-
can't believe you got a brand spanking new GTD to run around in!
I get pansy Polo 1.4's or poverty spec Golf 1.6's.
Next time I'm asking for something nicer!

I am very good friends with 2 of the sales staff, so i get to use their motors instead of the Bus'es they hand out normally.Had the White Mk6 Gti last time out, and a Green scirocco too.

I just recently had a service at Audi, you have to call 2 weeks in advance to arrange a courtesy car if you are having any work done, WTF!? You are a lucky boy Steve
