Hi
Iv got a mk5 gt dsg
Can I fit normal mk5 gti springs on it ? Iv seen a set on eBay but it says not for dsg??
I can't find anything on the net about them not fitting a dsg!
Any help or info would be great before I buy a set
Thanks

My understanding is that this is due to the extra weight of DSG, during them on a DSG GTi would mean the front sits low. Then, there would also be a weight difference between your engine and a GTi...this is where my knowledge ends!

I have a set of DSG Gti springs sat in the garage that you could have, however...........due to the extra weight of the Gt engine over the Gti engine I personally wouldn't put Gti springs on a Gt. Some might say go for it you'll be fine but me personally I wouldn't. :happy2:

What's the worst that could happen?
Front bottoms out on speed humps or something worse??
What do you want for the springs mate ?

Any other advice please .?
