Hi all
After much deliberation and help I'm thinking of going for his rear bumper to help get my colour coding going on. Anyone bought one and had issues with it? Seen a lot of guys go for the r32 one but this seems a cheaper option to going down the OEM route. Assuming it needs priming before painting but anyone been through any major problems with it?

An oem one isnt much more and will fit much better

The oem gti ones need more prep work if I'm not mistaken due to the texture and getting it sanded down? I've been quoted £400ish to colour code the rear bumper skirts and front lip from my body shop due to the labour and I figured if I could get a rear bottom section which didn't need so much work doing to it I would be able to cut the costs down

£400 to remove, prep, paint and re-fit is a pretty good price if the quality is good.
OEM GTI valance is like 60 quid from dealers.

Before you order it, phone upto make sure they have it in stock. I ordered mine in February and it didnt arrive until last week(!) Valance is being painted as we speak so will post pics when l pick it up from the bodyshop.
