Title: strange advice on 6 speed DSG...

So as ive said before im looking for a GTI... while i was checking the service history with vw on a potential GTI im looking at, it was mentioned that the 6 speed DSG does not need servecing/oil change, only the 5 speed does!?

I thought that seemed very odd? also i thought there was only 6 speed and 7 speed.. didnt know there was a 5 speed dsg?

Well Ive got a 6 speed DSG and it has had its 40k service

There isn't a 5 speed DSG box.
Needs servicing every 40k.

As above, there is no 5 speed DSG. It needs servicing every 4 years/60k miles (whichever comes first).

Those clowns serviced the DSG in my Ed30. :confused:
