Not paint work you want to worry about, it's bodged welding under the skin!

To be fair there were two Ed30s on Auto Trader recently at, or around, the £15k mark. They both had much higher mileage than this though.

Sounds like a nice car.

There are a few about at the mo at around that price, even some at vw dealers

This one also looks good from the for sale section on here..... only 5 thousand miles

That does sound cheap but there could be a good reason for this.

If the customer was changing his car and looked into part exchanging it and they for example only offered him 13000 he could then think thats all his car is worth and advertise it for £13995 hoping to get £995 cash to play with. Perfectly reasonable as that is what alot of my customers do. Even though they could get alot more for their cars its a quick way to get some extra cash.

Although i could be wrong and the car is a nail so check it fully.

I dont think its as bad a some are making out.If you go in with your eyes open,I`m sure you will make your own mind up.
As for selling cheap the seller may have lots of reasons for selling at a lower orice than everyone here wants to pay
Run up to Christmas is never an easy time to shift a car!!
Good luck and look forward to hearing how it goes :happy2:

ok guys, after a long journey through london i arrived, the car is in very good condition, actually a lot fewer chips on the front than i was expecting, couple of alloys had tiny touches but nothing major, new pilots on the back, good tyres on the front, serviced 4 months ago including the aic con, mint interior, the only problem was the rear 1/4 had been painted because of a scratch and although it aint bad its not perfect, seems to have faded a little more than the rest of the car, to an untrained eye it wouldnt have shown up and he acted suprised when he spotted it, but the rest of the car was nice and it was already cheap so i thought i would go in with the size 10s because i think a detailer would be able to sort the panel out or at the worst get a pro painter to achieve the finish i am after.
after goin back and forward we agree on £14300 and he will deliver back to kent for me when my cheque clears for my old car on wed, and a free ipod left in the armrest
Very happy

gonna wait till i get it to give it a propa look over, clean then comes the rns510 to finish the interior off, will try to find a top notch detailer to see if the 1/4 can be salvaged or if i get a repaint
