Title: Wheel help please.

Looking at a set of 19" CHs, but they are 8.5x19 with an et of 35 or 45 with spacers. Will these fit my 58 plate GTI?? or will I have rubbing issues??

You say et35 or 45 with spacers? If the wheels are et35 then any spacer will lower the offset. So an et35 wheel with a 10mm spacer gives a final offset of et25.

As for rubbing, it all depends how low you are. But at 8.5 wide I'd guess things could get a bit tight and you certainly wouldn't want spacers in the equation.

Et45 with no spacers and 225/35
Or et35 with 215/35 camber and rolled wings to stop the rubbing

Get the et45 and if you want then you can add spacers
