Hi.
You have probably noticed that we have just added a MK7 area. Its sparse at the moment, but if it gathers momentum we will add more sub-catergories to match the MK5 area.
Cheers

Ooh! :jumping: Looking forward to the possibility of a Mk6 area sometime... maybe...
-
Purely because of the vast similarities of the 5/6 we have not seen the need for separating them out. The 7 is a different car all together.

Fair enough! I'll have to wait till I get a mk7 before I can go in a new section then... :sad1:
Keep up the good work! :drinking:

I definitely think there should be a mk6 area too,I know the last one the forum had was hardly used but then there are more guys on this forum with mk6 golfs now!!!
Just my 2 pence worth...

Then what about an 'other VAG' section for us guys that prefer hanging about here :popcornsoda:

There is an "other" section in members rides.

There's not really a need for a mk6 section, as mentioned and looking at many products on the market the similarities between mk5 and mk6 cars is huge.
Perhaps a Mk6 Rides section specific for mk6 owners? Best middle ground?

So offended that there isn't a Mk6 section!

Its a mk5.5

Been wanting a TDI section next :signLOL:

.....Will need a mk8 sections soon, Not for me, I'm not that well off :driver:

I think that having a mk7 section is a good idea as that is what existing mk5 owners are most likely to move up to, and as Rich says it is a rather different build to mk5/6. Arguably, the Clubsport S represents peak GTi.
Having seen what an ugly and underwhelming design VW have eventually announced for the mk8, it seems a generation to miss rather like the mk3...in my opinion they appear to be transitioning the design over to purely electric future models.
