Title: New Brake Caliper or Rebuild
Post by: jakex181 on May 05, 2015, 04:08:19 pm
My rear drivers side brake caliper is binding and the dust seal has come away from the piston allowing dust to get in, i refit the seal but the caliper is still sticking i believe as after a drive it is always hot when compared with the passenger side. Im just wondering if i can rebuild the caliper and it will be fine or if im better off just buying a new one? Cheers

I had the exact same problem on mine but I just bought a new one from vw, was gonna try a repair kit but just thought f*ck it and got a new unit.
