Just received the rear calipers I bought off a fellow forum member. Now my original plan was paint them black to match the front S3 brakes, but having looked at them as they have been refurbished by brake caliper refurbs, the paint finish on them is fantastic. I can't see myself being able to match the quality of the paint finish.
So do people think it's better to leave them red, or paint them black and look a bit inferior?

Black looks discrete, but red is the GTI colour :innocent:
Very surprised the OEM calipers were binding fella, the rear disks & pads have been on that for an age :surprised:

I had yellow calipers behind anthracite alloys. Loved that combo
