Washing my car earlier and once again my back window condensates up in the same spot. Is it known for a leak to happen from the wiper arm or is it just a warm car with cold water running over the glass?
It's only started doing it.

Never had it but my guess is you need a new wiper arm seal

warm air inside the car rises, hits the glass and condensates, if youve used a power washer water has got inside the car, probably a tiny-tiny amount unless you noticed the car wet inside. Current mk5 and previous VW's have all done it. Mine is the same in both corners of the rear passenger doors, not so much on the boot.

Mine does it a little on passenger door (5door) front window
Strange but goes after the car is dry 10mins later not worries yet aha!

It does go pretty quick.
I originally thought it was my aerial as it was loose. Tightened it up and didnt stop this from happening. The car is dry so I know theres no leaks etc, only used the hose pipe.
As mention above, wiper arm seal possibly.

Just do a wiper delete it looks much cleaner with no wiper there! Plus all that rear wiper does is dirty your window :happy2:

Mine doesn't do it and wash car most weeks
:scared:

Never understood this
How does removing the rear wiper and sticking a tacky plastic cap in the hole make it look cleaner
Apart from the fact that the rear wiper does quite a important job given that the rear of golfs seem to really pick up dirt in wet conditions etc how do you come to the conclusion that it makes the rear screen dirty!
Sounds like you need a new rear wiper blade mate as mine cleans the screen perfectly :rolleye:

Just something about no wiper which makes it look much smoother without a horrible big wiper arm! And it's not the end of the world if your back window was literally covered in mud as vans don't even have back windows so it's not a necessity. just my opinion anyway
