Title: Brembo Front Discs GTI Mk5 ED 30 2008

Hi all ,
I Have just got a GTI ED30 , now someone has put on a Brembo upgrade kit , i cant seem to find a replacement size , they are 332mmx25mm strange and the 4 pot caliper
has a 54mm clearance , i spoke to a guy at Bremsen Technik and  he said it was an old kit they made a few years ago , i could order the Discs but it would take 6 weeks.
Looking around on the net i can't find any discs of that size and i really don't want to have to buy a new kit over 1K .
Anybody help

You have 3 easy options:
-4 pot NQSBBK from Porsche 986 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?page=mods&mod=20) with OEM GTI brake discs
-4 pot TT-RS front brake kit with TT-S brake discs with 340 mm or with MB GL450 brake discs with 350 mm
-6 pot Brembo 18Z from Touareg/Q7/Porsche Cayenne with MB GL450 brake discs with 350 mm

I chose the last option. :smiley:

Are you sure those measurements are correct? Any pictures?

A friend of mine with a Scirocco fitted TTRS brakes with those discs:

Here are some pics , guys

I have just got this car and as you can see the discs need replacing ... Now im not sure if this is the correct disc , the pad does run tight on the outside edge but to me seems to fall well short towards centre of the disc ... the gap in between the pots on the caliper is 54mm and the disc is 25mm , so i cant even put 15mm pads in i was told i would have to go for the smaller GT pads at twice the price
