Title: Hello I'm new

I got my Mk5 (Standard Black 3 door GTI with Monza 2's) last week after a succession of what Gaz refers to as Hairdressers cars. I bought the GTI so he couldn't bully me anymore. Now all he tries to do is make me spend more money on mods.

I believe I have stepped onto what may be slippery slope to modifying my car, which I probably should have grown out of a few years back (or so the missus says) but hey what the hell...

Previous cars, do we have time? Last one was a TT Mk1 V6, Before that a Boxster S I could go on but I'll keep it to the last 12 months :ashamed:

sounds like you need nice guys like us to show you the way!! good move from a TT all a bit show and no go as gaz says its a hairdressers car, now your in a proper car :happy2:

so when you dont want to modify it much just lower it you mean you need custom KWv3's, anti roll bars, anti lift kit and of course an LSD. then obviously you will have to convince wifey that its imporatn to have big brakes for the safety element then it will be on with the engine mods... :party:

Was great fun but jebus I looked gay in it! Lets just say I kept it for as long as the tyres could last...6 weeks!

Missing the V6 warble and Quattro yet?
