Seen an s3 brake setup for sale for £400
s3 8p quattro 345mm brake calipers and tarox drilled and grooved discs/ tarox corsa pads virtually new only covered 200miles
My main 2 questions are they a straight bolt on fit?
And are tarox discs and pads good, think I remember reading drilled discs crack very easily?
Or..
Brembo touraeg 4 pots
330mm discs + spare pair of discs
Pads in good condition
HEL braided lines
Everything needed to fit
£400

You need the brake lines off the S3 too. Bolts straight on with 17in Monzas or 18in pascara wheels
-
Cheers mate! Read mixed reviews on the tarox discs and pads mainly the pads being abit crap and fade?
Who can supply the hoses? Anyone on here
Thanks again

Think these are a better buy? Got to be better than s3s with them being 4 pots.
And there's no postage they're from a local lad so Iknow they will be all good!

What about caliper carriers?
Would you need custom ones or anything?

Think they're included too mate everything needed is included as they've just come off his jetta

Take the 4 pots mate, I've never tried the touraeg ones but 4 pots will be better and lighter than the S3 setup.
-
Go for the 4pots.
More braking power than s3 brakes and you dont have to deal with the weight increase as s3 brakes are cast solid and heavy whereas the 4pots are aluminium.

Cheers guys gunna put a deposit down on em and have them at the end of the month :) pushed remap another month back :( oh well
