just started getting this occationally when the car goes in a dip in the road but seems to be getting worse and now does it coming off speed bumps
any input would be gratefull to what it may be
-
could be the anti roll bar link or some times called the anti roll bar stabilser
-
will hasve to get it checked
-
try the yank mkv forum. they seem to have a lot of issues with clunkming over there. theres always threads about it????

i sometimes get a single knock when turning left or coming off a kerb from the left front wheel.
Had both my suspention turret bearings+springs replaced FOC to try and cure it, but its still there. I would of thought they would of spotted it when taking the suspention out, may well be on the Anti roll bar bushes or lower ball joint doing it.

mines strange as its not done it for over a week

Yeah I would say drop link too.. If not, then check the top mounts too..

I had a similar issue, not so long ago...had everyone baffled... in the end it turned out to be a lose bolt in one of the rear shocks. Suggest you check those...

Had both my front spention struts/bearings replaced and mine is still there.
