Title: Engine cover mod

What does everyone think of this? im well pleased how it turned out...kinda my 1st mod :ashamed:

Got it painted at a friends bodyshop but he said he didnt use any special paint just from the paint code i gave him...the red lines are simple coach lines then laquered over. Im planning on adding the R8 oil cap and im considering detailing the FSI letters in another colour, red i think....any ideas?

Matches the Candy White car perfectly. However, I fear it's going to be difficult to keep looking clean, as is the oem 'silver' centre strip.

i should be picking up my engince part after spraying today. Ive only got the grey centre part done though

thats looking nice mate.

I like it a lot. i reckon it could be overkill if you did the letters red, it looks great how it is! ;)

I have seen this at a show and it looks well good. Its been very well done.
