Title: Do I need to disconnect the battery fitting a intercooler ?

I was hoping/wondering if I could get away with disconnecting the battery fitting a intercooler because of the airbag impact connections and as I have a revo stage one and don't really fancy going back there and wasting time/money is there anyway of getting round it ?
