Hi all.
Bought some xenons and the driver side one has a bit of the metal round thingy quite loose.
Any way of placing it back on?

Should snap back into place, you'll need to carefully take out the lense and bracket and carefully find a suitable tool to just hook over the edge and gently pull back towards you.
I had the same problem a few years ago and it worked for me :happy2:
Just a tip, put some cloth over what ever you use as the silver will scrape away quite easily if you have bare metal against it. As i found out the hard way

Yes... I had the same on mine. Took me 2 hours to bend bits of wire to form a hook to insert into the unit and pull it back.
AB-SO-LUTE ball ache!

Thanks for the response buddy.
Do i need to split them using a heat gun ot anything? Or will the lens come off just by taking off the black hook things
-
No heat gun needed matey, from memory once you've removed the igniter and bulb holder you can remove the bracket that holds the lense with 4 screws, just go easy and take your time.

Just re read your last post. Just to be clear, your not going at it from the front, you need to come at it from behind, through the black cap that unscrews to access the igniter/bulb etc :happy2:

Thanks for all the input guys, just took the projector ball thingy out using by undoing the 4 screws and have clipped the metal ring back in place.
Will put it on the car tomorrow and see if theres any issues.

Same thing happened when I purchased a set of slightly damaged xenons. In the end I used my fingers to get a catch on it and pull it into position = no problems since!

Cheers bud. I did the same thing. all sorted now
