Hi All
i have just fitted super pro ball joints to my eddy and its booked in for 4 wheel alignment tomorrow morning
what camber should i be asking for on a fast road set up ?
cheers Dan..
-
i'll be getting mine on soon with ally bones and hubs so will keep an eye on recommendations :happy2:
-
Just get them set to maximum. Should be about -1'45
-
i'm worried about traction too  you think thats too much Rich? i struggle as it is with my heavy ass
-
You lose a bit of traction yes, especially when steering from a standstill (turning out of junctions is noticeable if you are heavy footed) but more gives you tons of front end grip.
-
maximum setting it is then :happy2:
-1'45
looking forward to having a bit more front end grip in the bends
rich you have said it will lose grip when steering from standstill but what about straight line launch like at santa pod ?
-
If you are interested in launching the car from a standstill... you want as little camber as possible.
The increase of camber decreases straight line grip, theres no way of getting around that.
