Title: Clutch 70mph to 90

Hi my edtion 30 stage one seems to rev high for a second when flooring it in six gear at 70 to 90 then grip does it mean new clutch 61000 miles .Will it damage flywheel if I keep driving .best clutch and price if anyone could advice .not bad a jobs on my car would anyone advice doing it yourself.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. Helix clutch from Awesome GTI and flywheel from carparts4less or give Alex at AKS a call.

Yeah your map has probably killed the clutch. Time for an uprated one as above.

few of us have had problems with Helix supplying the wrong clutch. If you go to Alex he will make sure you get the right clutch fitted at the best price  :happy2:
