hello all. new owner here.

firstly, thanks all for such an informative and friendly community. I have lurked hard over the last month or so and thought now was the time to introduce myself.

always been a classic car fan, with something boring as the runaround, but decided to go for a test drive in a gti when thinking of a replacement for the polo (you only live once, right?) and was sold. I also have an mgb roadster that gets used for holidays and several track days a year, so it seems like a pretty good combo.

i have just bought a low mileage '07 car in reflex silver, with DSG and leather interior. I aim to keep it reasonably standard, however i like the idea of adding the buttons to the steering wheel and upgrading the sat nav with the later version. that can all come later, as i will just enjoy it for a while first.

anyway, thanks again - i hope get a bit more involved around here...
