Title: What have you done with your interior grab handles??

My interior front door grab handles are worn and scratched,
What have you done to yours? I.e spray them, vinyl wrap

I bought some that have been carbon hydro-dipped

change them early ones peel later/new ones don't

Ahhhh, i dont know why i didnt think of them first  :rolleye:

I just replaced mine with new ones and new buttons, they look much tidyier now and the window buttons are more responsive as mine didnt always want to play ball.

My driverside window switch is starting to be a bit iffy, time to change it for chrome tip one!

Changed my switches to chrome tipped

And replaced my grab handles with new from vw as there are not expensive

Drivers for 5 door was £13ish
Passengers for both £20ish per door

That was jct 600

Change them.....

I took the old ones off with the intention of spraying but it's a pain removing the old residue so I picked up new ones. They're cheap and a very easy job!

I ended up selling the old ones second hand to a guy who wanted to spray them...

I got new ones from the dealer, I also got genuine chrome switches while I was at it!

Local dealership was £13.19

V4rley is yours 5 door? Just trying to suss out of the part numbers are different between 3 and 5 door, also did they have it in stock or did you need to order it?

Mine is a 5Dr not sure if P/N different for a 3dr
Dealer had to order from VW depot had 63 5dr in stock so was ready at dealer the next day

I've had my car about 4 months and literally only noticed the grab handles about a week ago... Embarrassed lol
