As the title says, i have an edition 30 and installed the bluefin that came with the car, however i am finding it is not boosting until 4-4.5K rpm. I have been in touch with SC and they have told me it is the latest map for a manual edition 30, so not really sure what is up ??
Anyone got any advice ?

Don't really know for sure although a stage 1 Bluefinned Ed30 should look similar to this.

If possible and depending on where you are in the country try speaking to a local independent VAG specialist. It may be something on the car that only shows up with the map loaded or it could be that it is still not the right map.

I phoned SC yesterday and today regarding the problem, and they have told me again today that i have the most recent correct map (guy sounded a bit peed off that i phoned again today !) .
Maybe the best thing i can do is put it on the rollers and see what sort of curve it produces.

get it on rollers , or get someone to log it with VCDS for req vs actual boost and N75
I would suggest the latter as being more useful :happy2:

What's N75? :chicken:

What's N75? :chicken:
The Wastegate Bypass Regulator Valve.
-
Both the boost and intake pressures are
used to control the wastegate of the
turbocharger. These pressure signals are
supplied to the ECM, which then sends
a pulse-width modulated signal to the
Wastegate Bypass Regulator Valve N75. As
a result N75 controls vacuum supply to the
Pressure Unit, which directly acts on the
wastegate via a connecting rod. This control
system regulates the turbine speed and
sets the maximum boost pressure.
The logged values should give an indication of things like boost leaks. As it should have a defined 'profile'

i did think it may be wastegate related, will have it all checked out soon. :happy2:
