Hello, very happy with my purchase, is anyone nearby to get any info regarding local remapping possibly a induction kit !

Hi bud. Don't no of any places near you but I'm in Manchester, awesome gti in Irlam do maps and also R tech performance there abit out the way but heard nothing but good things about them.

There's lots of mappers out there for generic remaps but I'd go with a specialist that no's the engines in these cars. Get it done right and you'll only have to get it done once  :happy2:

Plenty of info on here though. Not been on here long myself but everyone seems very helpful.

Cant attach a photo, cant see how to do it, 08 plate 3dr, with a sunroof, cruise, folding mirrors and ipod connecter under armrest and parking sensors. Not sure if any are standard! In tornado red,. Love it :notworthy:

Would love a 30th Edition! Have had to settle for a standard GTI whcih I collect next Saturday

Thanks men. I haven't seen a 5dr silver ed30 about but have seen a 3dr one... Been busy with it already, taken the precat out and fitted  mfsw buttons, and a ramair induction kit. Changed to chrome indicator bulbs in the front. Not bad for just over 2 weeks of ownership. Loving it but not the fuel costs which are my doing ! Going to get it mapped up by end of month, keeping a eye out for a bargain rcd510 dab if there is one knocking about

Did you remove the precat yourself?  Don't fancy earning yourself some beer tokens and removing mine do you?!

I have 3 bruises, 2 cuts to my fingers . Only took 2 hours tho, get it up in the air as much as you can to make life easier and have a go, it's a proud moment once done as I usually don't bother with stuff like that myself. I would want more than a garage in money to do another haha
