Title: Black badge or carbon badge
Post by: winrya on December 12, 2009, 01:18:48 pm
Hi Guys, just wrapped my badge in carbon fibre wrap and I'm struggling to decide whether i prefer the previous black badge or the new one.

Which should i keep?

Black, carbon looks too grey and out of place.

....

Are you talking carbon vinyl or the real deal?

Whatever you do on the front badge should ideally repeat on the rear VW badge.

Just applying carbon could easily jump start you onto the slippery slope and carbonfibre is very slippery!

Black gets my vote, but if you wrapped the gloss black section of the grille in CF wrap then the carbon one would look better as it would tie in with the badge. :happy2:

Cheers guys, I think I'm gonna pop the black on back on. Took ages to wrap it lol. It looks amazing in the sun, pity we have so little.
