Hi guys,
I am new here so any support on this issue will be highly appreciated. I just got my hands on a 2007 RS4 interior. I want to swap it with my 2007 MK5 GTI cloth interior. Any tech support regarding the wiring since my car is a base model with non electric seats. Add to that the passenger airbag detection system and the side seats airbag delete.
Thanks

The work around I've used is to get some fused resistors for the air bag plug, that'll stop the light on the dash coming on. As for the other wiring, you'll need to look at retro fitting the looms and heated seat controls for the dash, loads of how to guides on here.
I didn't bother with the wiring on my Recaros so I can't offer much help but at least you can get them bolted in and start enjoying them.
EDIT: Right, now I'm on the laptop, I managed to find the website I wanted to mention:
https://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/
This place is the place to go to for wiring looms to retro fit things into your Golf. You should be able to find the right wiring looms to get all the electrics working correctly.
As for air bags, what you can do is remove the plugs (or use the part numbers to source replacements from VW) from your Golf's seats and wire them onto the new RS4 seats, meaning perfect OE integration without touching the car's wiring loom. Alternatively, here's the fused resistors I was on about:

They work perfectly, although I took two attempts at wiring them in the right way round and into the right points on the connector! Have a fault scanner handy that can clear air bag lights as you'll need to clear the light via a tool (it won't go out once you re-wire them in correctly, either way). Remember, air bag light is an MOT failure but more importantly, they won't deploy in a crash with the light on the dash illuminated!
