I want a new stereo but ive been put off by all the storys of battery drain if u have a car with the older canbus. I have a 56 plate golf gti, and no access to vagcom.
These stereos claim to have a built in canbus decoder.

Above the clutch pedal, above the accelerator, seems well hidden! Spent an hr looking for it on SundayBump....Where have you looked so far?
