Sorry folks, just gauging what you think I would get for the Golf as me and the missus have seen a dream house and I might have to sacrifice this... and my motorbike :( - anyway I have typed it as though I am selling, I know some of the things are obvious!!

VW Golf, DSG, Black 5-Door, 2005 – 55 Reg, 84.5k miles, FSH.

Spec –

•   Cloth Tartan GTi Seats (very good condition)
•   6 speed DSG Automatic with Steering Paddles
•   New Mats
•   Centre Arm Rest
•   Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
•   Multi-Function Steering Wheel

•   Cam Chain, Tensioner and Adjuster changed
•   Air Conditioning Compressor and High Pressure Valve, re-gassed - now nice and cold  :laugh:

Summary –

No creaks or rattles and everything works, body work is in good clean condition with the odd age related marks here and there, a couple of very tiny parking dings, nothing to detract from the car though.  Since doing all the work it runs like a dream and in traffic im returning around 30 mpg.  On a run getting closer to 38/40 - using Vpower.  Pulls very well (as it should) and is very smooth with the DSG box.

I'd say around £5,500, maybe £5,800 would be a good starting point..
