Title: Yellow fog lights
Post by: Pesky jones on July 07, 2015, 02:06:56 pm
So for yellow fog lights (when theyre off) do you just apply the lamin-x tint to the outside of the fog light?

and then for extra yellowness can I add yellow bulbs?

Has anyone done the following?

Thanks

Correct.

I have ordered some lamin x fog light film from America and expecting them anyday now. Got them off eBay.  If I had cut them myself it would have been cheaper but hey ho.

I have waited about 10 days so far. Seems they are out of stock at moment. Here is a link to their sellers page on eBay.

So as they were out of stock I ordered a similar thing from china. Turned up today.

Its a roll of yellow tint (as ordered) but is one side supposed to be sticky? You peel back a transparent backing but it doesn't reaveal a sticky side. Perhaps it doesn't need anything sticky, perhaps its just...sticks?

Lamin-X is the only way to go. I tried to get my motorbike headlight wrapped with a cheap film and it was awful stuff. Dry is wouldn't contour properly and got scratched to hell so a mate tried a wet application (which some can be) and that wouldn't even stick. I ended up buying some from a UK seller on ebay.
