Title: Airbag light not coming on.

As the title, my airbag light doesnt illuminate when l turn my car on. It was flagged up during my MOT, but its only an advisory. Anyone have any clue as to why it doesnt come on? Blown bulb? Is there any way to rectify it?

Has it ever come on?  My old golf i realised someone took apart my clusters and put black tape over the light to dtop the abs light from showing.  Turned out i had a faulty abs pump which the seller hid from me

I dont know. I had the midline swapped over for highline clocks a few months ago, so maybe something to do with that? However Midland VW who did the swap dudnt say anything at the time about the light. I have to confess lve never really paid much attention to what lights come on at the start of a journey as long as they all turn off before the car starts.

Best to do a vcds scan and also test the lights using measuring blocks in vcds
