Having been through several sets off Pescaras and trying different shades of the colour that can't be replicated, Found a set of OEM original colour wheels and they are with Lepsons being refurbished to the right colour £388 plus vat £450+
Find my self thinking we should have just bought Anthracite VZs on offer £645 delivered

Look forward to seeing how they turn out! Mine will need doing at some point, so keen to see how Lepsons finish yours...

Trying to make the same decision myself just now as mine are in need of a refresh. Really cant decide on a colour.
-
I have had lots of sets done at Lepsons ,Always perfect can't fault them, I guess you get what you pay for .
-
Have to post up some pictures of the final result. :happy2:

If you can... find out the colour code they use (if this is a stupid question, shoot me now...) :happy2:

Mine are in need of a refurb as well. Cant decide what colour to go for either.... standard or something else??

That's good to know. Look forward to the finished pics!
I've paid a lot before, and have had poor finishes. All I want is a proper finish on face of the wheel, and as good on the inner, with consistent paint colour, cover, and no particulates in the paint finish.
I think I'd like a paint finish over a powdercoat base, as I think powdercoat seals the wheel better than paint, and the paint then provides a better top finish than powdercoat alone...
What have you gone for Scooba?
Cheers,
Dave

Lepson did mine a few years back. They looked great when done but they have not exactly lasted very well

Hi Dave
I think after acid dipping and then media blasting , first coat of paint is grey powder coat primer then a wet colour coat followed by powder coat laquer top coat,
Colour wise I said as near as possible to the OEM colour , they phoned to say it was a special shade and extra money , Near enough will do it is 7 yr old now.
