Hi Guys... The engine oil low level warning was flashing on my Edition 30 this morning so I went and bought some 5w30 Castrol Edge today and put a litre and a half in.
Started the engine up and the oil warning light is still coming up on the dash. It doesn't say anything, it's just the icon. Do I need to reset the warning or should it do it automatically?
Any help much appreciated.

Maybe, but the OP specifically referred to the oil LEVEL warning light. :P

I've seen some funny faults with that pick up blocked - I've seen plenty faulty level sensors and bonnet switches causing problems so he needs to keep an open mind and do a bit reading.

Did it specifically say oil level LOW or is it the the oil icon light?

This got fixed... It was the bonnet switch. Gave it a clean and the level warning light went out..
And yes I have heard of a dipstick ta :stupid:

Pleased you got it sorted :happy2:
