Title: Dimming mirror doesn't seem to work

noticed that my dimming mirror doesn't actually do anything the other day when someone following me decided it would be a good idea to have main beams and fogs on... the green light comes on but nothing actually changed in the mirror itself.

any common faults?

In that case the sensor may be gone. Used mirrors are cheap and easy to swap it with though.

Try shining a torch onto the sensor when it is a bit duskier outside, just to double check there is no change with the dimming
