Title: LED door warning lights HELP!!!

Trying to install door warning light in my 05 GTI. GEN 1/2 controller

Cant find the pin for the ground. Pin 1 is the positive.

Supposedly PIN2 and PIN4 are Ground but are in use.

Take the ground from the fuel cap switch. Ive done this on 2 golfs with no problems.

I spliced into the wire from the fuel switch end and soldered the ground wire from the door warning light to it. No need to touch any of the pins from the controller for the ground.
