Title: What oil?check light on!

Check oil light came on this morning on my way to work.my last service in the book says longlife oil was used.if I go to halfords at lunch what oil do I need to top it up with?

Thanks didn't have time to search as on iPhone at work!service is due in 400 miles (5 days for me) so probably why it's low and I must admit I don't check as often as I should.

was a post on this the other day. i was told by my mate whos a mechanic that you should never let the oil get as low that the light comes on, if so it can be to late !!!
