Title: DSG. Rev issue stays at 2000rpm rather than dropping down below 1000rpm???
Post by: Sav213 on July 17, 2015, 09:11:35 pm
New problem tonight!

Start the car up and it idel's normal (under 1000rpm) but if i press the throttle and rev up, it drops back down and stops at 2000rpm! Another little tough then it drops back to normal

Like theres a clutch issue or something. Also the exhaust gas warning lamp come on for the first time!

Any one have any ideas?

Thanks

Does the rpm rise and drop without throttle response? I would check the PCV as a failed one can cause lumpy idles
