Title: Mk5 gti dsg springs for 2.0 gt tdi 140
Post by: Colinspence on July 20, 2015, 08:16:21 pm
I want to improve the handling and lower my gt with some gti springs so it will handle better and lower the car a bit more ,
it's a dsg model ,.....
But keeping the ride comfortable and not knocking my teeth out on bumps like the eibech springs do !
Can I only fit gti springs that have come off another dsg car or can I fit any mk5 gti springs?
Iv been looking for a while now for second hand  gti dsg springs but they seem impossible to find
Any advice or you know someone with any ? Please help
Thanks Colin.

You need springs for DSG Golfs. Why not try the Eibach Pro-Kit? Pretty comfortable with the right dampers.

Ive always thought the GT and GTI had the same ride height, suspension etc  I had standard gt suspension on my gt which sat the same as my GTI (or so I thought)  Both had BBS CHs on and looked good without being too low

A naked eye can't really see 5 mm from a distance, I think. I have Eibach Pro-Kits on my GT Sport and compared to a GTI suspension you'll have trouble seeing the difference.
