Mk5 Gti

Hi I guys bit of help needed. Just purchased a dump value for my Gti and fitted it tonight is there a certain way it fits?  As in I know it only goes 1 way but does it need to twist round or face a particular direction.  Because when driving the car on low boost before the valve dumps it sounds like it's sucking in air now I'm pretty sure it's not ment to sound like that so my only guess is iv fitted it wrong and need to turn it quarter of a turn or something.  Could you please advise me on what I need to do thank you.  Part number iv brought is FMDV14T

What you need to do is remove the valve and replace with the better standard version.
