Hey guys
New to the forum (having bought a GTi) and wondered if you may be able to help.
I'm looking for the best way to listen and control music from my phone (android) using the standard radio (RCD300) in my 2007 GTi.
The car has the OEM iPod dock in the arm rest, although I bypassed with with the Aux in GROM kit. However, controlling via the phone isn't ideal and it'd be great to have Bluetooth in the car.
Possible options I've read about seem to suggest:
- XCarLink with Bluetooth - http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/product.php?productid=304&cat=2&page=1
- Parrot Mki9200 - http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/hands-free-car-kits/parrot-mki9200/ - although I've heard mixed things regarding the sound quality of these due to in-built amp?
- VW OEM bluetooth module - is this difficult to setup? I'm not worried out steering controls
Any other suggestions?
Cheers
