I have a couple of stone chips on the black pillars. What have people used to touch them up. It's like a gloss black.

If it's that bad it bugs you, I would buy a new one from VW. Only about £20. I changed all mine (5 door) for gloss black ones for about £18 each.

Ok cool. Wasn't aware they were removable.

I'll see if I can fish the how to out for you.
EDIT: Check half way down this page. Its what i used when removing mine. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5147007-Replacement-of-B-pillar-door-trim (http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5147007-Replacement-of-B-pillar-door-trim)

@Matto (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4512) do you have any guides for the rear door gloss trim between the main window and quarter glass? On one side of mine there are a couple of chips and I fancy changing it

Bigger job as you have to remove your door skin to get to the bolts
Easy job tho tbh
Hard bit is ensuring the door skin is flush when refitting
I did mine as i replaced the small rear window
