Title: Stretch bolts in front crossmember/subframe?

I remember reading somewhere that the bolts which attach the front suspension crossmember/subframe were stretch bolts, does anybody know for definate if this is the case or not?

Dont think they are.. They didn't look like stretch bolts. I have always re used them and nothing has fallen off yet..  :wink:

dunno if they are stretch or not tbh
but they 'should' be replaced, but like most things they dont 'need' to be replaced.

its the same as the fact you prob dont need alignment after the frames been off , but you prob should check.

knowing your background i guess youll be getting a new set  :happy2:

fwiw my were reused for my VWR lower mount to be fitted.
