Title: Hi 8L S3 owner Just bought GTi!!!

Merry Christmas all!  :santa:

My names Joe located Colchester way in Essex.
Put my deposit down on an approved used 55 plate Gti (with Monzas & leather) to replace my ageing MTM tuned - 8L S3.
Pick her up on Saturday - fingers crossed.
Only problem is the dilemma of AU Warranty versus Revo remap! I know i shouldn't but have any others got away with it?   
I won't be able to last a year without some extra ponies....

Will put up pics when i get some.

The Approved Used warranty administered by VW isn't worth the paper its written on.  I bought my car in February and in that time the following things have broken:
OS window regulator
Dump valve
Solenoid valve
Rear wiper motor
AC pressure sensor
Seat height handle
CD drive in head unit
Outer CV boot
Battery

Out of all of those things, the only item they approved was the CV boot, and when they fixed that they didn't even bother doing up the big clip.

Remap it mate, how will they know it wasn't already there?
