So for the last few weeks my car has been whining when pulling away untill I get to a certain speed. I thought it was the dsg as it had recently been serviced so I had vw check it over and they said its all good and the oil level is fine etc.
Soo I've been kinda ignoring it the last week, then I went on a night drive tonight and realised when I turn left pulling away it doesn't/or hardly whines atall. But pulling away in a straight line and while turning right its much louder/noticeable.
Also when on a straight road (empty) I swerved from left to right a few times and when I swerve right at around 30-40 I hear a whirring noise... Almost like the sound that a pigeon makes! Haha. This only happens while swerving right.
Am I right in thinking my front left wheel bearing is nackerd??? Or am I being stupid and its the right side?
Any help appreciated as I still have a few weeks warrantee left so want to get it done before it runs out.

Wheel bearings are funny things as the sound travels funny through the car. I have just replaced a rear drivers side when myself and other people could have sworn it was the passenger that had gone.
It wasn't untill I jacked the car up to check for any play that it confirmed which side it was. That is what I would be doing first to try and narrow it down :happy2:
